I was a scholarship recipient in 2022 and attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. I graduated in 2022.
Now, I’m in the city of Bogotá, working for a significant firm in Colombia and contributing to the efforts for diversity and inclusion in the country.
My best advice: Create a life purpose based on your passions and believe that anything is possible. Envision the best academic or professional places while being empathetic, supportive, and kind to others.
What I gained in the United States was an incredible experience at one of the best universities. I made valuable friendships in that country and acquired a lot of knowledge to continue working on civil rights, human rights, and racial justice in Colombia.
Being part of the 100K Exchange Network has provided me with opportunities to learn from various experiences and a professional calling that allows me to continue making an impact. Additionally, thanks to this scholarship, I have made friendships from all over the world.
