RobotArts Initiative
The RobotArts Initiative seeks to close educational gaps and promote STEAM education in international hybrid scenarios. Therefore, this project will increase the number of students with skills in engineering, robotics, and the arts and will inform students about the application of robotics in cultural and creative industries. This project will provide virtual and in-person experiences for students, in which participants will respond to disruptive scenarios to discover new ideas about robotics, the arts, and their potential social impact. Researchers and practitioners from two Colombian public universities, Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia and Universidad del Valle, and one American public university, the Georgia Institute of Technology, will coordinate this cross-cultural, multi-institutional initiative by contributing technical, cultural, and artistic experiences.
