Information Visualization and Digital Fabrication with Applications to the Creative Industries Field
The project between Universidad de los Andes, University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), and Purdue University establishes an international research internship exchange program for students interested in the creative use of new information and communication technologies. UCSC and Purdue students will spend one month of the summer working at the School of Architecture and Design. Colombian students will spend four months working at the Shape Lab with Purdue professors. This proposal will create academic programs that engage with Data Visualization and Digital Fabrication — a unique opportunity to share the state of research and results not only through professors but also with student interactions.
