Culinary and Hospitality Trends: Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Tourism has long been the principal industry in Miami, Florida welcoming visitors with year-round warm weather, sandy beaches, and cosmopolitan culture. Tourism is also a growing sector in Armenia, Colombia where ecotourists explore the foothills of the Andes, lush valleys of the coffee-growing region, and distinctive culture and cuisine. Building on this economic link and the strong Hispanic heritage of both cities, Miami Dade College (MDC) will engage in an educational exchange program with Centro de Comercio y Turismo (CCT), a SENA Center in Armenia, Colombia focused on innovations and trends in the culinary and hospitality fields.
