Bridging the Gap in Healthcare:
Linguistic and Cultural Training for Professionals and Students in Costa Rica and the USA
This project will include a virtual education program as well as an in-person cultural exchange to provide international education experiences for nursing students, who often have a difficult time studying abroad because of the paucity of programs that address their academic requirements and that also fit into their strict curriculum. This program addresses both challenges by offering language coursework that is specific to healthcare professionals while focusing on practical and career-oriented skills.
