Faculdade SENAI Chapecó, Olympic College, and Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarinan have partnered to create a project that will increase students underrepresented in STEM and international mobility to solve a significant problem facing people around the world. This coalition will create an accessible Ergometer Bicycle, to be pedaled using myoelectric conduction, which will assist in the recovery process from spinal cord injuries. Together, SENAI, UNOESC and Olympic College will use all their assets to inspire students to learn the relevant theory and language skills to respond to this modern challenge. Through virtual learning and in-person mobility, all three institutions will unite their very best to inspire the next generation’s workforce to meet the needs of its people.
